Sloppy “Giuseppe”

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Rao’s Made for Home Arrabbiata Ketchup
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 3 Strips Thick-Cut Bacon, Sliced into 1⁄4” strips against the grain
- 1⁄2 Medium Red Bell Pepper, julienned
- 1⁄2 Medium Yellow Bell Pepper, julienned
- 1⁄2 Medium Green Bell Pepper, julienned
- 1⁄4 Medium White Onion, julienned
- 2 Garlic Cloves, sliced
- 1⁄2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- 1⁄4 cup Pecorino Romano Cheese, grated
- 8 Mini Brioche Buns
- Fresh Italian Parsley, chopped
- Kosher Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large sauté pan over medium heat, place bacon and cook until edges brown.
- Add peppers, onions and garlic and sauté until translucent.
Add ground beef break apart using the back of a wooden spoon and simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until no longer pink.
- Add ketchup and mix thoroughly.
- Sprinkle in both cheeses and mix until melted.
Prepare your buns on your serving plate, scoop the servings onto each bun, sprinkle fresh parsley and top your bun.
