Crab and Marinara
1 ½ tablespoons butter
½ shallots, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ teaspoon red pepper flakes
¾ cup white wine
2 jars Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 pound lump crab meat
Cooked Rao’s Homemade linguine pasta
Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add shallot and stir frequently, until it begins to turn golden.
Reduce heat and add red pepper flakes and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute seconds, consistently stirring.
Add in white wine and bring mixture to a simmer.
Add in Rao’s Homemade marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, stir.
Bring mixture back to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer again for 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
Add in crab meat and continue to simmer and stir for 20 minutes.
Serve over cooked Rao’s Homemade linguine pasta, top with cheese of choice and enjoy!
