Rao’s Pizza Dip with Cream Cheese & Cheddar

INGREDIENTS

  • 13 ounce jar Rao’s Pizza Sauce
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 4 ounces pre-sliced pepperoni, (optional)
  • 8 ounce bag shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella or mexican blend (a blend of monterey jack, medium cheddar, queso & asadero cheeses), your choice
  • corn tortilla chips for dipping

PROCEDURE

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place a layer of crushed dipping chips of your choice into the bottom of an 8X8 glass baking dish or baking pan.
  • Slice cream cheese and evenly cover the chips.
  • Spread pepperoni over cream cheese.
  • Pour 10 ounces from jar of Rao’s Pizza Sauce on top of pepperoni.
  • Top with 8 ounces of shredded cheese of your choice.
  • Pour remaining 3 ounces of Rao’s Pizza sauce over the top.
  • Bake in oven at 375°F for approximately 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Serve on favorite gourmet crackers, sliced baguette, crostini, etc.

Rao’s Pizza Dip with Ricotta & Mozzarella

INGREDIENTS

  • 13 ounce jar Rao’s Pizza Sauce
  • 8 ounce container ricotta cheese (drain well)
  • 4 ounces pre-sliced dried italian sausage (optional)
  • 8 ounce bag shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite)

PROCEDURE

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place a layer of crushed dipping chips of your choice into the bottom of an 8X8 glass baking dish or baking pan.
  • Spread ricotta cheese and evenly cover the chips.
  • Spread dried Italian sausage over ricotta cheese.
  • Pour 10 ounces from jar of Rao’s Pizza Sauce on top of dried Italian sausage.
  • Top with 8 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Pour remaining 3 ounces of Rao’s Pizza sauce over the top.
  • Bake in oven at 375 degrees for approximately 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with corn tortilla chips or on favorite gourmet crackers, sliced baguette, crostini, etc.
    Serves 10-15
