Beef Braciole

Ingredients
1 lb, cut into slices and pounded 1 ¼ - inch thick
Bottom round beef
to taste
Salt & Pepper
1 tbsp
Garlic Powder
1 cup
Breadcrumbs
Butcher Twine
3/4 cups
Olive Oil
1 Clove
Garlic
1/2 cup
Basil

Lay out beef onto baking tray and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and breadcrumbs. Tightly roll and secure with twine.

Place stock pot over medium heat. Add olive oil and halved garlic cloves. Once the garlic cloves begin to shimmy, add the beef rolls, turning until evenly brown, about 6 minutes.

Pour off excess oil from pot. Add 1 jar of Rao’s Homemade® Marinara Sauce. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1 hour or until the beef is tender.

Remove from stove and transfer to a large serving bowl or plate individually. Garnish with chopped basil.
