In Support of Pediatric CancerOn March 3rd 2013, Cami was admitted into the hospital for respiratory distress and high fever. Within days, Cami was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and soon after began her grueling bout with chemotherapy. At the end of June 2013, we prepared her for the next phase of her treatment, a bone marrow transplant. Recovery was slow and long, but Cami's spirit and fight got her through.
We are thankful everyday that she is now in remission and acting like a typical 4-year old. We continue to look for ways for our story to touch the world and raise awareness for all the children who must endure this terrible disease. Thank you for Going Gold!!
